Entrepreneurs hoping to make a positive social impact with their startups have a new opportunity to create successful and sustainable ventures. Applications are currently open for young founders to become Halcyon Fellows and take advantage of the resources and knowledge offered at the Halcyon Incubator, located in Washington, D.C. The Halcyon Incubator works with entrepreneurs to solve real-world problems in the United States and around the world.
Halcyon Incubator program applications are open until 5 p.m. Tuesday, October 17. Applications are for Cohort 8 of the program, which begins February 5, 2018. Through an 18-month fellowship, the incubator offers founders training, working spaces, mentorships, support and pitch sessions that turn entrepreneurial visions into reality.
In order to apply to the program, an applicant must be at least 21 years old by the start of the program, speak fluent English, have a venture in the idea, MVP or pilot phase, and the venture must have less than $500,000 in annual revenue. A full list of eligibility requirements can be found here.
Fellows will be picked based on several criteria including execution, talent, sustainability, innovation and impact. A full list of selection criteria can be found here. Once decisions are made, selected applicants will be notified on December 15.
