STeP focuses on the needs of the private sector through a variety of service mechanisms: collaborative research between private sector and academic experts, incubation program for technology business, technology transfer, technology licensing, innovative design, laboratory and equipment services, technology pilot plant, including providing of technology business consultancy, meeting rooms, and other supporting facilities. STeP's goals are to drive the economy of country, to reduce regional disparity, and to create awareness and knowledge based on innovation through building innovative ecosystem for entrepreneurs, startups, SMEs and enterprises in the region by utilizing valuable resources from both government and university sectors.
