ThermoNorth startup won a startup competition sponsored by BP Energy company in Azerbaijan and got business development support.

ThermoNorth, from Azerbaijan, is a GIST Regional Startup Training alumni. They won second place. ThermoNorth developed a liquid that stores energy and keeps car engines warm in cold weather. The team received $1,500 in seed capital.

Previously the startup raised $15,000 in startup competitions after completing GİST Regional training in Georgia.

ThermoNorth provides a unique product based on advanced energy storage materials for trucking companies to help them for minimizing fuel consumption and CO2 emission problems in a truck’s engine during cold weather conditions.
