The GIST Startup Training program will be in Tashkent, Uzbekistan this November 13-16 to help young science and tech entrepreneurs learn the skills they need to grow their businesses.

The training is focused on science and tech founders from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Participating founders will spend four days honing their business ideas, perfecting their pitches and showcasing their innovations during a Demo Day. The Demo Day will give these entrepreneurs a chance to pitch their startups to business leaders, investors, academics and policy makers.

Applications for this regional GIST Regional Startup Training Central Asia will open on Monday, October 1 and will close at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, October 16. Only entrepreneurs based in Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan or Kyrgyzstan will be able to participate. For a full list of eligibility requirements, follow this link.
