Program Description

You have built a great product and assembled a team, but you can’t start making sales until potential customers know about you. Marketing can be expensive, and talented public relations professionals can be difficult for a startup to recruit, which is why knowing how to get media attention for your startup is vital. Getting positive publicity can be the first step to customer acquisition, and like every other aspect of entrepreneurship, it requires skill. Whether it’s blogs, social media, newspapers, magazines, television or radio interviews, gaining press attention can be the most inexpensive way to get your name and product out there.

Improve your public relations skills with our experts by joining the GIST TechConnect interactive webchat on Tuesday, April 17 at 11:00 a.m. EDT (15:00 UTC).

You can ask the live panel of experts your questions by using the chatbox to the right of the video player. You can also send your questions to the panel by using #GISTTechConnect on Twitter.
