Tech-I Alumni Celebrates $100K in Sales
The team behind Qaleb Studio is excited to share that their sales for the period of January 2018 to July 2019 have exceeded $100,000.
Abbas Al Asmar, an experienced graphic designer on the project said, it would not have been possible without GIST's help.
Qaleb Studio was a 2019 GIST Tech-I Finalists. They were one of 24 finalists who represented 18 countries from around the world.
Qaleb Studio is an online platform that offers in-house created pre-designed templates and mockups with Arabic & Islamic flavor targeting designers, agencies and freelancers. These templates & mockups can be edited and customized online easily, instantly and downloaded by users. For August 2019, they grew their content library by 3%, As well our revenue has been growing by 41%, leading them to a recovery of 237% of our total monthly costs (their recovery rate for July was 181%).
For September 2019, their recovery rate is expected to be above 210% driven by an increase in monetization revenue.
· Important developments:
· In the process of finalizing our contract with Placeit, to whom we have already started sharing content.
· Four new team members have joined Qaleb Studio.
· One of our team members has been prompted as Team Leader, effective as of this month.
· In the process of establishing an MOU with Zain to provide them with content from Qaleb Studio.
· We have received the opportunity to participate in Investment Academy in Barcelona next month.
· 55 scenes were designed and uploaded online to be sold.
· 3% grow in the content library
· 41% growth in revenue
