Connecting Science and Technology Innovators from Around the World
The Future of Global Innovation
Since 2011, GIST has been proud to partner with governments, corporate partners, and innovation ecosystems to train thousands of innovators at more than 100 events. We have awarded more than $1.5 million in non-dilutive grants and have provided training for over 15,000 startups, who have gone on to generate over $250 million in revenue.
We work to catalyze startup solutions that address developmental challenges through networking, skills building, mentoring, and access to financing, fostering lasting connections to the American innovation ecosystem.
Our Work
Business Incubation
Our Business Incubation program brings together the best global science and technology (S&T) innovators and American business and investment communities to increase cross-market access, opening doors for joint ventures. While in-residence at business incubators in the U.S., global entrepreneurs have opportunities to make connections to the local entrepreneurial ecosystem and build business relationships. American businesses gain awareness of foreign-generated innovation, markets and investment opportunities.
Accelerators and Startup Training
We have worked to develop a host of unique programming models, working across pitch competitions, accelerators, and unique startup training modules to empower S&T innovators and entrepreneurs through on-the-ground training and mentoring, all delivered by top U.S. mentors and in-country partners, paired with exposure to American businesses and capital.
Investment Catalyzation
We partner with in-country stakeholders in entrepreneurial ecosystems to bolster local financial support for startups, while connecting American investment experts to different regions around the world, providing an opportunity for in-country investors to learn how to create and sustain investor networks for entrepreneurs.
