GIST Partners

The GIST Network is a public-private partnership created by the U.S. Department of State to give science and technology entrepreneurs access to needed resources and advice. The partners include the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Microsoft, Halcyon, AWS, Founder Institute, Gust, GSVlabs, NovoED, Stanford Technology Ventures Program, TechWadi, Venture Capital Institute, University of California, Berkeley, the U.S. Department of State, and VentureWell.

Kauffman Foundation

Established in the mid 1960s by the late entrepreneur and philanthropist Ewing Marion Kauffman, the Kauffman Foundation is based in Kansas City, Mo., and is among the largest private foundations in the United States with an asset base of approximately $2 billion.
