Dale Nirvani Pfeifer

CEO & Founder, GoodWorld

Dale Nirvani Pfeifer is on a mission to make payments a global force for good. Her social media payments company Goodworld, makes charitable giving on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram frictionless, viral and secure and works with over 3000 of the world's top charities. It also provides charitable innovation for the financial sector (banks and payment companies). Goodworld was recently named one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies and a World Changing Idea by Fast Company magazine, one the Fast Growing Companies in Washington DC, and won a Timmy award as DC Best Tech Startup in 2016.

 

Viktor Brandtneris

Owner, Brandtneris Consulting Group Inc

Viktor started his career in financial and strategic planning roles in the computer industry with IBM & Computervision. He subsequently co-founded a start-up in the financial services industry with responsibility for daily operations, investor reporting and regulatory compliance.  He is active in consulting and coaching early stage companies employing the Business Model Canvas, and is a National Science Foundation’s I-Corps instructor.  He works closely with the University of Michigan and Innovation-Los Angelos (IN-LA) Naitonal Nodes.
 

Samer Yousif (Chat Space Expert)

Program Associate, VentureWell

Samer assists in planning and implementing entrepreneurship education programs through the Global Innovations through Science and Technology (GIST) program. He supports the Program Officers in coordinating workshops and Startup Trainingss in emerging markets with our local partners, and helps ensure the programs are implemented smoothly in-country. Previously, he spearheaded the North America outreach strategy for a global competition at Ashoka. Samer has a Masters of Global Policy Studies, with an emphasis on international entrepreneurship, from the University of Texas at Austin.

 

Lauren Gibson (Moderator)

Foreign Service Officer, U.S. Department of State

Lauren Gibson is a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State. She joined the Department in 2011 and served in Lome, Togo, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Lauren currently works as a South and Central Asia Regional Policy Officer in the Bureau of International Information Programs. Prior to joining the Department, Lauren worked in alternative marketing as an account manager for Nestle and Target. Lauren attended American University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in international affairs. She speaks Vietnamese and French.
