2019 was a big year for GIST! Across 130+ emerging economies, we worked hard to discover and support the best ideas in entrepreneurship and innovation. We launched training programs, hosted pitch competitions, and cultivated startup ecosystems around the world to nurture the growth of 600 emerging entrepreneurs and 200 startups. We were fortunate to partner with 14 outstanding organizations and companies and awarded millions of dollars in funding and resources to the next generation of global innovators.
