BeO Authenticity Systems

Companies are losing 10% to 70% market share because refillable bottles, depending the market, are losing around USD$200 billion, one million of people die because fake drugs and 44,000 die for fake liquor, falsification is a big problem and the right hand of the organize crime. The preferred illegal markets are: medicines, alcoholic drinks, perfumes, make-up and food, but also luxury goods like jewels, watches, cel phone, etc.

With our proposal, we join the fight of companies and governments against piracy: we offer a definitive, intuitive, and previous-to-opening solution, consisting on a modified thread in the forming and manufacture of glass, making it possible to verify via sight and/or touch. When the cap is twisted, a ring descends, breaking and encapsulating the chips of the fragmented thread, avoiding the risk of hurting the consumer or contaminating the product. What we are doing is destroying partially the container in a mandatory fashion before accessing the product, in an intuitive and safe way. The kind of glass forming is special, we are not talking of artesanal glass, we need industrial glass manufaturer and on average is 1 glass plant for any 400 of plastic which are candidates to produce our caps. So, we are harnessing the glass entry barriers.

We work directly with the companies owners of the brands; our business model operates under a licensing scheme, charging for a batch of bottles/jars using our system (the fee per unit will vary according to manly to variables, such as adaptation costs, counterfeiting rate, social impact, market share) This, in turn, makes a recurrent-income business with minimum operation costs; since we are a technology business, we don’t need infrastructure or manufacturing, but a client, turning this business into a very attractive opportunity. Plus, we have business partners with the glass and cap industry.

About us, we are a Mexican start up dedicated to innovation with solutions to prevent refilling, adulteration, counterfeiting and piracy in glass containers. We have a patent pending with 7 varieties. We harness the glass complexity and its barriers of entry.
