KG Labs and American University of Central Asia

Mission of KG Labs Public Foundation is to boost knowledge-intensive jobs and startup ecosystem in Kyrgyz Republic. Our goal is to connect local community with global startup network, private equity and venture capital. In order to reach this goal we are bringing international startup related events such as Startup Grind, Startup Safary, Garage48, Code for All Bishkek brigade, Startup Nations, Startup Legal. Apart from it we are developing series of hackathons to increase skills of local community members, planning to conduct nation-wide startup competitions, helping higher schools and other educational organizations to develop curriculum on lean startup, etc. Expected topics of hackathons are futurecities, digital travel, IoT, hackinghealth, digital education (MOOC). KG Labs advocates in benefits of startup community by providing educational presentations to policy makers, collaboration in drafting legislation as well as developing country’s strategy on knowledge economy.
